"Remarks and Summary of The 1999 Youth and Money Survey"
The TIAA-CREF Institute was asked to underwrite this survey by the American Savings Education Council (ASEC) and the Employee Benefit Research Institute (EBRI). A telephone survey of 1,000 high school and college students (aged 16-22) was conducted and it focused on their financial attitudes and behaviors.
Ms. d'Ambrosio presented a detailed summary and analysis of this survey at a meeting of the Investment Company Institute Shareholder Communications Committee.
