The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) assembled a wide variety of researchers to discuss the important issues in the decision making process with regard to higher education. This conference was supported by the TIAA-CREF Institute. As reflected on the conference agenda, the presentations covered many different aspects of this difficult decision making process. The presenters selected for each topic brought about creative, enthusiastic and comprehensive discussions. Jennifer Ma, research fellow at TIAA-CREF Institute, presented her study titled Education Savings Incentives and Household Saving for College. Caroline Hoxby, faculty research fellow at NBER, is the organizer of this conference.
